Exact locations, insider tips, and everything you need to know before your visit.
Your daughter has one request for the whole Disneyland trip — meet her favorite princess. Don’t leave it to chance. This guide covers every Disney princess meet and greet location at Disneyland Resort in 2026, plus tips to make each encounter as magical as possible.
The Most Important Rule First
Disney princess appearances change daily and without notice. Check the Disneyland app once you’re in the park for the most up-to-date appearance times. No guide — including this one — can guarantee which specific princess will be where on your visit date. What we can tell you is exactly where to look and how to maximize your chances.

Royal Hall at Fantasy Faire — The Main Princess Hub
Location: Fantasyland, just to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle
This is your best bet for guaranteed princess meetings at Disneyland. In Fantasy Faire’s Royal Hall, you can usually find three different princesses inside, and maybe a princess and a royal friend outside under an umbrella in Fantasy Faire.
Frequent visitors to Royal Hall include Aurora, Belle, Cinderella and Snow White — but the lineup is always changing. You might also meet Mulan, Anna, Elsa, Elena, Tiana, Rapunzel, Ariel, or Jasmine.
The best part: One line grants you time with three princesses, one at a time. You can take your time with each princess — this isn’t a quick wave and move along experience.
Pro tips for Royal Hall:
- Arrive at rope drop and head here first — lines build quickly after park opening
- One queue gives you access to all three princesses currently inside
- Check outside the hall too — often a fourth princess greets guests under the umbrella in the courtyard
- If one princess needs to go about her duties, a different Disney character or princess will step in to take her place — so the line keeps moving
Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose — The Premium Experience
Location: Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
If meeting multiple princesses in a relaxed setting is your priority, this is the gold standard. You can meet multiple princesses during the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose at the Grand Californian Hotel. You can spend quality time with them outside, learning about their adventures and stories. It is on the pricier side but is a great way to celebrate a special occasion.
How to book: Reservations required, available 60 days in advance through the Disneyland app or by calling (714) 781-DINE. Book as early as possible — this experience sells out fast.
Princess Sightings Around Disneyland Park
Don’t limit your princess hunt to Royal Hall. Princesses roam the park throughout the day in ways that can lead to magical unexpected encounters.
Park Entrance & Main Street: You can also find princesses wandering right up to the gates of Disneyland — Belle, Cinderella, Ariel and Mulan have been spotted greeting guests as they enter the park. Arrive early and keep your eyes open as you walk in.
Fantasyland: Beyond Royal Hall, Fantasyland is prime princess territory. Tinker Bell and her fairy friends flit about in the recently refurbished Pixie Hollow. Captain Hook has been known to lurk about near Fantasyland, and Peter Pan rarely stays still but is awfully fun if you do find him running and skipping around.
New Orleans Square: Keep an eye out for Tiana near New Orleans Square — especially fitting given Tiana’s Bayou Adventure calling this area home.
Parades and Cavalcades: You can spot a lot of princesses at once in parades and cavalcades. The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade and Paint the Night Parade which run at select times throughout the Disneyland 70th Anniversary celebration are full of princesses. Check the Disneyland app for parade times on your visit day.
Disney California Adventure Princess Meetings
DCA has fewer princess options than Disneyland Park but a few key spots worth knowing.
Anna and Elsa: Anna and Elsa meet in the Animation Building at Disney California Adventure. Other princesses make special appearances at DCA during certain holidays.
Lunar New Year: Mulan visits guests with Mushu during Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure — a rare and special meeting opportunity if your visit falls during that celebration.
New in 2026: As of March 22, 2026, guests can see Bluey and her sister Bingo in “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at DCA — not a princess but worth noting for families with young Bluey fans.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique — The Ultimate Princess Transformation
Location: Fantasy Faire, next to Royal Hall
For the full princess experience, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers princess-style makeovers. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers princess-style makeovers for ages 3 to 12 years old.
Your child leaves looking like royalty — and arrives at Royal Hall already dressed the part for their princess meeting. Reservations required, book 60 days in advance.
Tips for the Best Princess Meetings
Arrive at rope drop. Royal Hall lines are shortest in the first hour the park is open. By midday waits can stretch to 45-60 minutes.
Use the Disneyland app. Check the character section daily — it shows current princess locations and approximate appearance times updated throughout the day.
Ask a Cast Member. If you’re hunting a specific princess, Cast Members near Fantasy Faire often know the current rotation inside Royal Hall and can tell you if your favorite is meeting that day.
Manage expectations with little ones. A little stranger anxiety is healthy and normal. The characters are much bigger in person than on TV. Characters get down on the ground to greet their smallest guests eye to eye — but don’t force it if your child is afraid. Wave from afar and limit character experiences to rides and parades if needed.
Come prepared with an autograph book. Princesses at Royal Hall have time for autographs and photos. A dedicated Disney autograph book makes the memory last.
Visit more than once. The Royal Hall rotation changes throughout the day — a princess not there at 9am may be there at 2pm.
What to Do if Your Favorite Princess Isn’t There
It happens. Rotations change, princesses take breaks, and some days your favorite simply isn’t scheduled. Here’s your backup plan:
- Check the Disneyland app immediately for any roaming appearances nearby
- Ask a Cast Member at Fantasy Faire if and when she might appear
- Visit the Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose where multiple princesses are guaranteed
- Watch the Paint the Night parade — nearly every princess makes an appearance
