Disneyland restroom locations

The question nobody wants to ask until it’s urgent — answered.

You’re deep in Fantasyland, your kid is doing the universal “I need to go NOW” dance, and you have no idea where the nearest restroom is. We’ve all been there.

This guide covers every restroom location at Disneyland Park by land, plus insider tips on which ones to avoid and which hidden gems to prioritize. Bookmark this before your visit.

Quick Answer: Where Are Restrooms at Disneyland?

Every land across the parks has at least one restroom — two in most cases. A good rule of thumb when looking for restrooms is to stick to the outer edges, as most restrooms are located out of the way of main scenery and traffic flow by design, mostly along barrier walls.

You can also find them instantly using the Disneyland app — tap the map and select the restroom filter.

Main Entrance & Main Street USA

Restrooms here: Main Entrance Restrooms, City Hall Restrooms, Carnation Café Restrooms, Red Rose Taverne Restrooms, Disneyana Restrooms, Plaza Inn Restrooms

The Main Entrance Restrooms on the west side of the Disneyland Park admission gates are conveniently located near the locker storage area (via planDisney) — perfect for a quick stop before you head into the park.

Insider tip: The restroom situation on Main Street is notoriously difficult, with long lines common at both Town Square locations and the restroom behind Plaza Inn. Use the Main Entrance restrooms before you pass through the gates, especially during peak hours. Don’t rely on Main Street for mid-day bathroom breaks.

Adventureland

Restrooms here: Adventureland Restrooms, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room Companion Restroom

The Adventureland restrooms are tucked along the outer wall near the Enchanted Tiki Room. Easy to miss but rarely crowded compared to Main Street.

Nearest to: Indiana Jones Adventure, Jungle Cruise, Tarzan’s Treehouse

New Orleans Square

Restrooms here: New Orleans Square Restrooms

Located near the waterfront area of New Orleans Square. Convenient if you’re waiting for Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean.

Pro tip: These restrooms tend to be less crowded than Fantasyland or Main Street — worth a slight detour if you’re nearby.

Frontierland & Tom Sawyer Island

Restrooms here: Rancho del Zocalo Restrooms, Tom Sawyer Island Restrooms, Tom Sawyer Island Fort Wilderness Restroom, Tom Sawyer Island Companion Restroom, Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree Restrooms, Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree Companion Restroom

The hidden gem: The Hungry Bear Restaurant restroom is tucked away on the lower level of the restaurant and is typically not jammed and decently spaced out — one of the best-kept secrets at Disneyland for avoiding lines.

Nearest to: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Mark Twain Riverboat

Note: Tom Sawyer Island restrooms require a raft ride to access — plan accordingly.

Fantasyland

Restrooms here: Prince & Princess Restrooms, King & Queen Restrooms, Fantasyland Theatre Companion Restroom

The fun one: The restrooms near the Alice in Wonderland ride feature playing card themed stall doors — a surprisingly delightful detail that keeps kids entertained while waiting.

Nearest to: Matterhorn Bobsleds, it’s a small world, Peter Pan’s Flight, Alice in Wonderland

Insider tip: Fantasyland restrooms get extremely crowded midday. Hit them right when the park opens or after 8pm when crowds thin.

Toontown

Restrooms here: Mickey’s Toontown Restrooms, Mickey’s Toontown Companion Restroom

Toontown’s restrooms are well-sized and typically manageable. Good option if you’re in the area with young kids.

Nearest to: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin

Tomorrowland

Restrooms here: Space Mountain Restrooms, Tomorrowland Station Restrooms, Tomorrowland Station Companion Restroom

Pro tip: When you exit Space Mountain, it’s a great time for everyone to go — look for that extra row of stalls to the right. The Space Mountain restrooms are large and often overlooked by guests rushing out of the ride.

Nearest to: Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Star Tours

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Restrooms here: Black Spire Outpost Market Restrooms, Black Spire Outpost Courtyard Restrooms, Black Spire Outpost Market Companion Restroom, Black Spire Outpost Courtyard Companion Restroom

The restroom near Kylo’s ship and the Milk Stand tends to be the quieter option as it is more out of the way, while the restroom in the marketplace is bigger.

Nearest to: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Companion & Accessible Restrooms: What You Need to Know

Companion restrooms are single-stall gender neutral restrooms that provide additional space and privacy for individuals with a companion or caregiver. Manual flush toilets are available in some companion restrooms for guests with sensory needs who need more control over the flushing process.

Each land has at least one companion restroom. These work well if you have several small kids and a baby to change, someone with disabilities who needs assistance, or guests of mixed genders assisting each other.

You do not need pre-registration or a placard to use companion restrooms. Just find one on the Disneyland app map.

Baby Care & Changing Stations

The vast majority of restrooms include disability stalls and changing tables. There are also baby care restrooms with toddler-sized toilets, nursing rooms, and larger changing rooms with tables instead of fold-outs like you’d typically see in a public restroom.

The Baby Care Center near the Main Entrance on Main Street is your best bet for nursing, changing, and toddler needs — fully equipped and much more comfortable than a standard restroom.

New in 2026: Vacant/Occupied Stall Signs

A small but genuinely useful update — some Disneyland Park restrooms now have vacant/occupied signs over the stalls, letting guests know if a stall is taken without having to awkwardly jostle doors. Still rolling out across the park but a welcome improvement.

Restrooms to Avoid (And What to Use Instead)

Avoid Use Instead
Main Street / Carnation Café (always packed) Main Entrance restrooms before entering
Fantasyland midday New Orleans Square or Frontierland
Any restroom right after fireworks Wait 15 minutes or use hotel lobby restrooms

Pro Tips for Restroom Success at Disneyland

  • Use the Disneyland app. The restroom map filter is accurate and updated in real time.
  • Go before you queue. If you see a restroom and think “maybe,” go. Ride queues can be 45-60 minutes long.
  • Outer edges are your friend. The further from the center of a land, the less crowded the restroom.
  • Ask a Cast Member. They always know the closest and least-crowded option nearby.
  • First Aid has restrooms too. Located in every land — clean, spacious, and almost always empty.
