Updated April 2026 — Current status of Disneyland After Dark: 90s Nite and all confirmed 2026 After Dark event dates.

If you’re searching for Disneyland’s 90s Night in 2026, here’s the direct answer: Disneyland After Dark: 90s Nite is not on the 2026 event calendar. The event ran in March 2025 and was a huge hit — but Disney has not announced a return date for 2026. This page covers what happened at 90s Nite, whether it’s likely to come back, and all of the After Dark events that are actually happening in 2026 so you can plan accordingly.

Is Disneyland 90s Night Happening in 2026?

No — as of April 2026, Disneyland After Dark: 90s Nite has not been scheduled for 2026. The complete 2026 Disneyland After Dark calendar has been announced by Disney, and 90s Nite does not appear on it. The five confirmed 2026 After Dark themes are Sweethearts’ Nite, 70 Years of Favorites, Disney Channel Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Pride Nite.

This doesn’t mean 90s Nite is gone forever. Disney After Dark events rotate on and off the calendar regularly. The event skipped multiple years before returning in 2025, so another return in 2027 or beyond is entirely plausible. Disney typically announces the following year’s After Dark events in late fall — check back in November or December 2026 for any 90s Nite announcements for 2027.

What Was Disneyland 90s Nite? (March 2025)

For those who missed it or are trying to decide whether to wait for its return, here’s what Disneyland After Dark: 90s Nite delivered when it ran in March 2025:

  • Separately ticketed after-hours event at Disneyland Park, beginning at 9pm (with mix-in access starting at 6pm)
  • 90s nostalgia throughout the park — music, décor, food, and entertainment themed to the decade that defined a generation of Disney fans
  • Line dancing at The Golden Horseshoe — a tribute to “Woody’s Round Up,” the beloved cowboy show that ran in Frontierland in the late 90s and early 2000s
  • Sentimental photo opportunities celebrating past Disney entertainment including “Mad T Party,” the “Main Street Electrical Parade,” and Club Buzz
  • “Long Lost Friends” character encounters — rare appearances from characters of Disney Afternoon, Mother and Father from Carousel of Progress, Merlin, Flik and Atta, and the Fantasmic! Monkeys
  • 90s-themed food and beverage with nostalgic nods to Disneyland dining of the past
  • Shorter ride wait times — after-hours access with significantly reduced crowds compared to regular park days
  • Exclusive event merchandise and complimentary keepsakes

The event sold out quickly and generated significant buzz from guests who grew up visiting Disneyland in the 90s. The rare character appearances were the biggest draw for many attendees — seeing characters like Flik, Atta, and the Fantasmic! Monkeys that rarely appear during normal park operations.

All 2026 Disneyland After Dark Events

While 90s Nite isn’t on the calendar, 2026 has a strong lineup of After Dark events. Here’s what’s happening, including what’s already passed and what’s still coming:

Sweethearts’ Nite — January/February 2026 ✅ Passed

The annual Valentine’s-themed event ran on nine dates between January 22 and February 17, 2026. New for 2026: the Celebrate Love Cavalcade down Main Street USA, and “Once Upon a Dream — A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook” featuring live singers. Disney Duets karaoke at Golden Horseshoe also returned.

70 Years of Favorites — March 3 and 5, 2026 ✅ Passed

A new theme for 2026 celebrating Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary. Two nights only. Highlights included the Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace — a revival of the beloved 1980s Disneyland hot spot — and rare character appearances tied to the park’s history. A standout event for lifelong Disneyland fans.

Disney Channel Nite — April 12, 14, and 16, 2026 ✅ Passed

Three nights celebrating iconic Disney Channel shows and characters. Starting at $159 per guest. Highlights included Penny Proud from “The Proud Family” making her Disneyland Resort debut, a “High School Musical – ZOMBIES Pep Rally,” “DescenDANCE” along the Rivers of America, and a “Camp Rock Sing-Along.” Strong nostalgia appeal for guests who grew up with Disney Channel in the 90s and 2000s.

Star Wars Nite — April 28, 30 and May 4, 6, 2026 ⭐ Upcoming

Four nights of galactic after-hours fun starting at $159 per guest. This is a particularly special year for Star Wars Nite: attendees on April 28 will be among the first guests to experience the Galaxy’s Edge timeline expansion — including Darth Vader, Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker in Batuu — one day before it officially opens to the general public on April 29. May 4 falls on Star Wars Day (May the 4th). Costumes are encouraged. Check Disney’s official After Dark page for current ticket availability.

Two nights celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and allies with rainbow projections, themed entertainment, dance parties, and special character experiences. Returning for its fourth year. Tickets typically go on sale 6-8 weeks before event dates — check Disney’s website for on-sale announcements. This event historically sells out quickly.

What to Expect at Any Disneyland After Dark Event

If you’ve never attended a Disneyland After Dark event, here’s how they work:

Separately ticketed. After Dark events require a separate ticket purchase in addition to — or instead of — your regular park admission. Regular park guests are not permitted to stay for the after-hours portion without an event ticket. Tickets are sold online only and not available at the gate on the day of the event.

Mix-in hours. Event ticket holders can enter Disneyland Park starting at 6pm — three hours before the official party begins at 9pm. During this time you share the park with regular guests but can already begin accessing the park with your event wristband. This is a significant bonus — effectively three extra hours of park time.

Party hours run 9pm to 1am. The official party begins at 9pm when regular guests must exit and runs until 1am. Rides operate throughout with typically much shorter wait times than during regular park hours — some major attractions run 5-15 minute waits during After Dark events.

No Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Lightning Lane is not available during After Dark events, but it’s generally not needed — wait times are already drastically reduced.

No park reservation required. Your event ticket serves as your park reservation for the event night. Regular park reservation policies do not apply.

Tickets sell out. Every Disneyland After Dark event sells out, often weeks in advance. If a future 90s Nite or any other After Dark event is on your must-do list, buy tickets the moment they go on sale — do not wait.
