Whether you need coffee to survive a 6:00 AM rope drop or an afternoon cold brew to push through to fireworks, Disneyland Resort has more coffee options than most guests realize. The trick is knowing which ones are worth your time and which ones will cost you 20 minutes in a line for a mediocre cup.
This guide covers every place to get coffee across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the three resort hotels, including the unique specialty drinks you will not find at your neighborhood Starbucks, the locations with the shortest lines, and the honest advice on where to go first thing in the morning when every minute counts.
Where to Get Coffee First Thing in the Morning
Before we go location by location, here are the three best options for your first coffee of the day when you are heading to the parks.
If you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel: The Coffee House, located next to Goofy’s Kitchen. It opens at 6:00 AM, which is one of the earliest coffee options at the resort. Joffrey’s drip and espresso drinks, pastries, and breakfast items. You can be caffeinated and walking to the park by 6:30.
If you are entering the parks via the Esplanade: The Downtown Disney Starbucks is right along your walking route. Full mobile order support means you can place your order from the hotel room and pick it up without stopping. This is the most efficient pre-park coffee at the resort.
If you are already inside a park: Jolly Holiday Bakery at Disneyland Park or Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe at DCA. Both open with the park and both have better line flow than Market House Starbucks. Jolly Holiday supports mobile order.
The Two Coffee Brands at Disneyland Resort
Almost all coffee at Disneyland Resort comes from one of two sources, and knowing the difference helps you decide where to go.
Starbucks operates three locations at the resort: Market House on Main Street in Disneyland Park, Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street in DCA, and the standalone Starbucks in Downtown Disney. All three serve the full Starbucks menu including seasonal specials. Disney-exclusive Starbucks drinks and the “Been There” collection mugs are available at the in-park locations.
Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company is the official coffee of Disney Parks and has been since 2013. Joffrey’s is served at quick service restaurants, hotel lobbies, cappuccino carts, and specialty locations throughout the resort. Their cold brews and specialty lattes are genuinely excellent, often more interesting than what Starbucks offers at the same resort, and the lines are almost always shorter. If you are not at a Starbucks, you are almost certainly drinking Joffrey’s, and that is a good thing.
Coffee in Disneyland Park
Market House (Starbucks on Main Street USA)
Many guests do not realize there is a Starbucks inside Disneyland Park. Market House on Main Street USA is it. The charming Victorian storefront conceals a fully operational Starbucks with the complete menu including espresso drinks, cold brews, Frappuccinos, and seasonal specials. Disney-exclusive drinks and merchandise are available here that you will not find at your local Starbucks. You can also pay with a Starbucks gift card or earn Starbucks Rewards stars here.
The downside: this is the busiest coffee spot in the park. Morning lines regularly stretch out the door as guests fuel up before heading deeper into Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. Mobile ordering is not available at Market House. You order in person only. If the line is more than 10 people deep, walk 30 seconds further down Main Street to Jolly Holiday instead. You will save 15 minutes and the coffee is just as good.
Standard Starbucks latte: $6 to $8. Seasonal specialties: $7 to $9.
Jolly Holiday Bakery and Cafe
This Mary Poppins-themed bakery is the most underrated coffee spot at Disneyland and the one I recommend over Market House every time. Jolly Holiday has a real espresso machine serving single and double espresso, cappuccinos, hot and iced caffe lattes, caffe mochas, blended mochas, and iced caramel macchiatos. It also serves Abuelita Mexican hot chocolate for a unique warm drink option.
The real draw is pairing your coffee with one of the bakery’s exceptional pastries. The Matterhorn Macaroon, Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron, and seasonal offerings are all genuinely worth trying. The outdoor patio faces Sleeping Beauty Castle and is one of the most pleasant places in the park to sit with a coffee. Mobile ordering is available, which makes this even more efficient than Market House on busy mornings.
Espresso drinks: $5 to $8. Pastries: $5 to $7.
Cappuccino Cart (Near the Castle)
A small Joffrey’s cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle serves espresso drinks with typically shorter lines than either Market House or Jolly Holiday. If you need a quick caffeine fix without committing to a full cafe stop, this is your best option in the heart of the park. No mobile order. No seating. Just coffee and go.
Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante (Frontierland)
If you are willing to venture to Frontierland, Rancho del Zocalo serves a Horchata Cold Brew that is genuinely one of the most memorable coffee drinks at the entire resort. Joffrey’s cold brew with horchata flavoring, rich, creamy, and completely unlike anything you would find at a regular coffee shop. This is the kind of drink that makes the Disneyland coffee experience genuinely different from a Starbucks run. Mobile order available. Around $7 to $8.
Red Rose Taverne (Fantasyland)
The Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant in Fantasyland occasionally offers specialty cold brew drinks including seasonal flavors. Menu changes seasonally, so check the Disneyland app for current offerings. Mobile order recommended. If you are spending your morning in Fantasyland and Toontown, this is a convenient coffee stop without backtracking to Main Street.
Troubadour Tavern (Near Fantasyland Theatre)
New in 2026, Troubadour Tavern added a Mud Cake Cold Brew featuring Joffrey’s Coffee French Roast Cold Brew with a malted milk topper, fudge brownie bits, and sprinkles. It is indulgent and fun, especially if you are pairing it with the Bluey’s Best Day Ever show next door at the Fantasyland Theatre. Around $7 to $8.
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge)
The quick service restaurant in DCA’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge serves a Cold Brew Black Cafe topped with Cocoa Puffs. It is one of the most Instagram-worthy coffee drinks at the resort and tastes better than the novelty factor suggests. The theming of ordering a cold brew inside a Star Wars cargo bay adds to the experience. Mobile order available. Around $7.
Other Disneyland Park Locations That Serve Coffee
Several additional quick service locations serve Joffrey’s drip coffee and basic espresso drinks without being destination coffee spots. Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland, Harbour Galley in Frontierland, and the Tomorrowland Terrace all serve coffee. These are not places you would seek out for a specialty drink, but if you are already eating there and need a cup, they have it.
Coffee in Disney California Adventure
Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe (Starbucks on Buena Vista Street)
This is the real Starbucks inside Disney California Adventure, and the original article missed it entirely. Located on Buena Vista Street just past the entrance turnstiles, Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe serves the full Starbucks menu in a charming 1930s-era storefront themed to the Three Little Pigs. The interior shares a dining room with Clarabelle’s Ice Cream, and the outdoor patio overlooks Buena Vista Street’s Art Deco fountain with a view of Carthay Circle.
This is a better in-park Starbucks experience than Market House in Disneyland Park for three reasons: the theming is more detailed, the seating is more comfortable, and power outlets exist along the far left window bar and near the left wall. That last detail matters if you are trying to charge your phone or do a few minutes of work. The cafe also accepts Starbucks gift cards and Starbucks Rewards. Espresso starting at $2.99. Cold brews starting at $4.99.
Flo’s V8 Cafe (Cars Land)
As of January 20, 2026, Flo’s V8 Cafe in Cars Land added Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican Cold Brew to its menu. The Start Your Engine Cold Brew features Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican Cold Brew with caramel premium syrup, housemade caramel-flavored cream, and a caramel sauce drizzle. It is rich and sweet. Cars Land’s neon at night makes this a particularly fun coffee stop in the evening. Mobile order available. Around $7 to $8.
Lamplight Lounge (Pixar Pier) — Coffee Cocktail
For guests 21 and over, Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier serves coffee cocktails including espresso-based drinks with spirits. The lounge has stunning views of Pixar Pier and is one of the best bars at the entire resort. A reservation is recommended, especially for the waterside patio seating. Coffee cocktails run $16 and up.
Smokejumpers Grill (Grizzly Peak)
Smokejumpers Grill serves Joffrey’s coffee and is a convenient stop if you are in the Grizzly Peak area near Soarin or Grizzly River Run. The outdoor seating is spacious and less crowded than the Buena Vista Street options. Not a destination coffee spot, but a good option if you are already nearby.
Coffee at Downtown Disney
Starbucks Downtown Disney
The standalone Starbucks in Downtown Disney is the largest of the three resort Starbucks locations and the only one that fully supports mobile ordering with a smooth pickup flow. If you are arriving before park opening and want coffee without entering the parks, this is the most efficient option. Strong WiFi in this area makes it a good spot to plan your park day over a latte. The line can build during morning rush, so mobile order from the parking lot or your hotel and pick up on the walk in.
Vista at Parkside
A restaurant in Downtown Disney with a solid coffee menu and a comfortable indoor environment. Multiple regular Disneyland visitors have flagged Vista as one of the best places at the resort to sit with a coffee for an extended period. The staff is relaxed about guests lingering, power outlets are available, and the atmosphere is calmer than any in-park location. If you want to sit and enjoy your coffee rather than grab and go, this is the place.
Coffee at the Resort Hotels
The Coffee House (Disneyland Hotel)
Located next to Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, The Coffee House serves Joffrey’s with a full range of hot and iced options plus pastries and breakfast items. It opens at 6:00 AM, making it one of the earliest coffee options at the resort. For guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel who want to be caffeinated before the 7:00 AM walk to rope drop, this is the move. Outdoor seating is available. You do not need to be a hotel guest to order here.
GCH Craftsman Bar and Grill (Grand Californian)
The Grand Californian offers coffee service through the Craftsman Bar and Grill area. Complimentary drip coffee is available early morning for hotel guests, with the full bar opening for specialty drinks from 9:00 AM. The Arts and Crafts architecture of the Grand Californian lobby is one of the most beautiful spaces at the resort and a genuinely lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee before heading into Disney California Adventure via the hotel’s private park entrance. Non-hotel guests can also order coffee here.
Calm Coffee (Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance)
If you are staying at the Courtyard Anaheim, the hotel’s dedicated Starbucks location in the lobby is a faster alternative to the Downtown Disney Starbucks for pre-park coffee. Grabbing a coffee here and walking across Harbor Boulevard to the park is faster than waiting in any in-park line.
Sketch Pad Cafe (Pixar Place Hotel)
A Pixar-themed cafe in the lobby of the Pixar Place Hotel serving specialty coffee drinks. Charming theming with Pixar touches throughout. The lobby is usually quiet, making this a pleasant stop. Open to non-hotel guests.
Coffee Drinks Worth Seeking Out
If you are the type of person who wants to try the best or most unique coffee drink at the resort rather than just the closest cup, here are the five worth going out of your way for.
Horchata Cold Brew at Rancho del Zocalo. The most uniquely Disneyland coffee drink. Joffrey’s cold brew with horchata flavoring. Creamy, rich, and nothing like what you get at home. Frontierland, Disneyland Park.
Start Your Engine Cold Brew at Flo’s V8 Cafe. Joffrey’s Shakin’ Jamaican Cold Brew with caramel cream and caramel drizzle. New in 2026 and worth the walk to Cars Land. Disney California Adventure.
Cold Brew Black Cafe at Docking Bay 7. Cold brew topped with Cocoa Puffs. The most photogenic coffee at the resort. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, DCA.
Mud Cake Cold Brew at Troubadour Tavern. Joffrey’s French Roast Cold Brew with malted milk topper, fudge brownie bits, and sprinkles. New in 2026. Near Fantasyland Theatre, Disneyland Park.
Abuelita Mexican Hot Chocolate at Jolly Holiday. Not coffee, but if you are visiting on a cool morning, this is the best warm drink at the resort. Main Street, Disneyland Park.
Locations to Skip
A few locations are not worth the line or the walk for coffee specifically.
Market House Starbucks when the line is 10+ deep. Walk to Jolly Holiday instead. Same quality, mobile order available, shorter wait.
Any generic popcorn or snack cart that also serves “coffee.” The drip coffee from these carts is bottom-tier and costs nearly as much as a real espresso drink from an actual coffee location 100 feet away.
Pym Tasting Lab for coffee specifically. The Avengers Campus quick service restaurant serves some coffee items, but it is primarily a food location and the coffee is an afterthought. Walk to Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street instead for the real DCA Starbucks experience.
Coffee Tips for Disneyland 2026
Mobile order whenever possible. The Disneyland app supports mobile ordering at Jolly Holiday, Rancho del Zocalo, Flo’s V8 Cafe, Docking Bay 7, the Downtown Disney Starbucks, and most quick service restaurants. Order while you are in a ride queue and pick up when you exit. You skip the line entirely.
Market House Starbucks does not have mobile ordering. It is the one Starbucks at the resort that requires in-person ordering. If you need Starbucks specifically and want mobile order, go to the Downtown Disney location or Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe at DCA.
Hotel coffee is open to all guests. You do not need to be a hotel guest to get coffee at the Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel, or Pixar Place Hotel. These are often less crowded than park locations, especially before 8:00 AM.
Starbucks gift cards and Rewards work at the in-park locations. Market House and Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe both accept Starbucks gift cards and Starbucks Rewards. If you have a loaded Starbucks card, you can use it inside the parks.
Magic Key discounts apply at some locations. Magic Key holders get 10 to 15 percent off food and non-alcoholic beverages at select Disneyland dining locations. Check the app or ask at the register.
Bring your own reusable cup. Disney accepts reusable cups at Starbucks locations and most Joffrey’s serving spots. You save a few cents, reduce waste, and keep your drink at the right temperature longer in the Anaheim heat.
